Μεγάλωσα βλέποντας τον παππού μου, ερασιτέχνη ζωγράφο, να ανακατεύει τα χρώματα στην παλέτα του, να δημιουργεί καινούριες αποχρώσεις, να μιλάει για το «μπλε του κοβαλτίου», το «κόκκινο του καδμίου», την «ψημένη σιέννα»… Αργότερα, κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών μου…
